Welcome to Vaulty

Important! Please read this.

How Vaulty Works

Vaulty changes your images and video files so that other applications cannot display them.

Back Up Your Files

Vaulty stores the media you place in your vault on your device. If your device were ever lost or damaged, the contents of your vault could be too.

Data Loss

Vaulty will never delete anything unless you tell it to by selecting the delete button. SD cards and other forms of storage have been known to eventually fail and this will result in data loss. There is nothing Vaulty can do about this. Back up important files regularly and replace your SD card when it starts to fail.

Remember Password

Remember your password. You'll need it to access the files you hide in Vaulty. If you do forget it you can always use the security question you set to reset it.

Files Stay Hidden

The items you hide in Vaulty will stay hidden until you send them back to the gallery from within Vaulty. They will stay hidden even if you uninstall Vaulty. If you wish for your files to return to your gallery, you must unhide them first.

Privacy

Your pictures and videos are never uploaded, transmitted or sent anywhere. They're saved on your device and that's where they'll stay.

New Device

When you get a new device, you need to transfer all contents of your old vault to your new device.
